If you are ready to book your session, let me know and I will send over a price listing and instructions on how to reserve your spot. Your session is not reserved until you let me know you definitely want to book, and I receive a signed contract and booking fee. Dates book quickly based on first come first serve, so I do not reserve a spot until then. Thanks for your understanding!
Contact us (email preferred) with, as much as possible, pertinent information as possible. A retainer must be paid in order to get a date on the calendar.
We work by appointment only. If you would like to set up a time to discuss details about a session or an event, gladly email or give us a call.
Newborns: We suggest reaching out as soon as you are ready. We only photograph a certain amount of newborns a month– we pencil you in for your due date. (Retainer must be paid to be placed on the calendar). Newborns should be photographed within the first 14 days of life.
Maternity sessions usually take place between 30-36 weeks.
For all other sessions you can gladly contact us for availability.
For all sessions, coordination and comfort work best. Wear clothing that reflects who you are. Avoid busy patterns or stripes. Blacktops are desirable for some classic indoor shots. Clothing for your maternity session should be tight-fitting around the belly. Loose and baggy clothes will hide your belly – don’t hide it, be proud of it!! Keep your clothing choices simple.
It’s so hard to predict how long a newborn session might last, so we suggest that on the day of your session you have no other appointments. We allocate up to 3 hours to allow plenty of time for feeding, calming, changing, etc. We want to make sure you get the best images possible so don’t rush the session! Other, Non-Newborn sessions typically last about 1 hour. Never underestimate and always bring extra of everything 🙂 (food, diapers, snacks, pacifier, etc..)
I am admittedly a bit of a prop addict! I have loads of cute props such as baskets, vintage crates, chairs, trucks, etc. You are welcome to use any of our props for your session and we also encourage you to bring any personal items you’d like included.
Non-newborn sessions: Parents provide the outfits.
Cake Smash Sessions: Parents provide outfits. The rest is on us! Parents have an option to bring their own cake The cake is delivered to the studio on the morning of the session day. It is common for parents to get dirty in the cake 🙂 we, therefore, encourage parents from bringing extra clothes.
